Harris swayed the judge in a case involving his illegal immigrant client by quoting passages from "Deportee" - a Woodie Guthrie song highlighting the plight of foreigners who come to America in search of a better life.  In addition to other persuasive lawyering and hard work, Harris obtained a reduced sentence for his client.
