The case:  Under laws governing intellectual property and theft of creative ownership, Harris' client was under investigation for operating an illegal music file sharing web site that allegedly caused the recording industry to lose millions of dollars in royalties.  The United States Attorney's Office threatened an indictment and demanded a guilty plea.

The result:  After meetings with The United States Attorney, Agents of The FBI and Counsel for The Recording Industry, Harris provided a complete legal defense based on comprehensive legal research and a thorough review of the facts.  After follow up meetings, the government agreed not to seek any charges, including no payment of royalties.
