Harris' client, a former Human Resources Director for a large Silicon Valley concern and himself an immigrant from India, was charged in federal court with fraud, conspiracy and other crimes related to the H1B work Visa program.  The government accused the client of promising phantom jobs in order to import ineligible immigrants.  The case is extremely serious because it entailed certain significant jail time and deportation for Harris' client.  After 2 years of negotiation, Harris convinced the government to dismiss all charges against his client.
